    Hi,

Really nice app! Loads very quickly.

What i’d like (using it in GQ) is when you edit a password field (ie. an encrypted file) that you can enter the text in cleartext and it gets encrypted according to the encryption you choose from a dropdown.

    Keep it up, compliments :-)

    Hi Michiel,

Thank you very much for your request. In fact, the application is not coded that way i.e. to enable a direct specific attribute type edition into the tree view items themselves. This edition is provided only to be short and direct. The core is a context handler and displayer… When you modify an attribute value, the core application calls the dedicated context handler API and then, the modules handle the specific operation such as hash request by displaying a dialog that asks you how to hash your value when you change a password attribute. That’s why you don’t have such comboboxes directly into the treeview…
I’m working on the values specific edition that will be accessible with a double clic or a specific popup menu on the attributes…

I really appreciate your comment, I’m taking your remarks into account.

    Best regards.

    GRemi.

    Hello,

Your tool is a promising one. I would like to see support for the Mozilla Thunderbird (e-mail client) addressbook.

Is their any chance that this is coming in some future release. Or the ability to add it yourself.

    Regards,
    Heymen

    Hi,
thanks for your suggestion. I didn’t think about it. So, I’ll add it to the TODO development modules. In next release, adding some bug fixes, there will be a user templated DN setup access to enable any kind of user defined DN analyse but such implementations won’t give the user accessibility to specific integrity rules. Do you need/see some pertinent integrity handling for the Thunderbird addressbook entries ?
    Best regards.

    Hi,

is it possible to add a progress bar on launch ?

and a multiple selection feature ?

and a search filter builder ?

    thx for your great software.

    Vr.

    Hi Vr,

those components will be added as soon as the dn loading core will be rewritten as it seems that the progressive dn lookup is an absolute requirement (SCOP_SUB). With this kind of lookup, a progress bar will display the job.
The multiple selection is already active within the attributes section. The multiple dn selection will shortly come too…
What do you mean about a “search filter builder” ?
    Thanks for your suggestions.

I mean something simple to build a search request, like selection of the attribute you want to search for and a textbox to indicate what value you want to search.
